P.S. some of the pictures in signatures are getting ridiculous...please make them smaller. Thank you!
And all they had was two copies of Alaska. Not ONE COPY of Katherines. Not ONE.
Whaaaaa?
(So I got Uglies and Thirteen Little Blue Envelopes instead)
But yes. Has anyone else had such a not-awesome moment happen to them?

Too many times. I once went into Barnes and Nobles but couldn't find any of John Green's books. It was most disappointing.
Not to mention, we simply don't get them in Spain unless it is via Amazon or a similar website.

Yes, I was at the midnight release of Breaking Dawn (which wasnt worth it) and because we had a lot of time on our hands I decided to read one of the books this new hero of mine had written (I had just started watching the videos...). And I couldnt find it and they were getting a new shippment the next MONTH! Come on!! It really sucked, i was pretty mad. Luckily I found them at a different book store. But still....

Count yourselves lucky. I've tried three branches of Waterstones and a Barnes & Noble (and since when do we even have those in England, anyway?). Not a single copy.

I don't see why stores are so poorly stocked with John Green books. They're pretty much the most awesome creations since like fire.

then i came home, logged onto youtube, and theres hanks vlog telling us that john's books are published in the uk. ![]()

You know what's more horrible than that? Or it could be good... I'm not sure.
My local B&N had like... a million copies of Katherines and several of Alaska. Now they have all vanished. They also had 6 copies of PTs and most of them are gone too. I wonder if a nerdfighter got my notes... hmm...

That happened to me tonight as a matter of fact. I finished Looking for Alaska this afternoon and went out to obtain An Abundance of Katherine's. WhenI got there there was only one copy of Paper Towns and one copy of Looking for Alaska... no Katherine's.
So I ordered Katherine's and left notes in the other two books on the shelves (if anyone lives in the Orlando area, these copies are at the Sandlake Rd B&N).

Yes, and its terrible! The Barnes and Noble near school doesn't keep Looking for Alaska for very long (although I guess that's a good thing. I mean, they sell copies so fast. But you'd think this would prompt them to, like, I dunno, order more...) but they've had copies of Paper Towns on the Featured shelves since it came out (YAY!!!!). I went to an Indie bookstore over break (I wanted to by the Trinity of Awesome for my lil' sis for Christmas) and they didn't have a single book and hadn't heard of John. WHAT?! I got on their computers and pulled up the Prinz list and they were all "Wow, we should have some of these..." And I was like "yeah". SO, they ordered a bunch and my sister got the Trinity of Awesome. Nerdfighters!

It's safe to say that was an unAbundance of Katherines...lol
But seriously, my local Borders has an abundance of John Green books...yet I don't know many people here who are big into YouTubers...except for me.

The book store near my house doesn't have ANYTHING by John Green in it. I wish it did.

today I'm going to find out whether or not Powell's has it. and I'm 100% sure they do. it's a used and new bookstore. one of the largest independent book stores in the US :) I love that place. you can literally get lost in it. and they have stickers that say "I got lost in Powell's City of Books."
sigh. just knowing I'm going there today makes me happy :)

I went to Target this week.
There wasn't a single copy of any of John's book. ![]()
Most of the YA section was related to vampires/vampyres. D:

odd. and to think i wouldn't be so blessed waiting for books to come all the way to canada.. and yet, at the Indigo book store near me, there is quite a hefty stock of John Green works. surprising.

Try living in Finland - it's the place that's last to find out about everything. ![]()
